1966.
The political structure consists of a uni-cameral
legislature elected every five years by universal
adult suffrage.
Botswana's
economy is one of the healthiest in Africa and
the country has one of the world's highest growth

resources. Botswana is the world's biggest diamond
producer.
All nationals except those from
the Commonwealth countires require vsas. Stay permist
issued at the border are valid for 30 days, but
US citizens are able to stay for 90 days without
a visa.
